This Privacy Policy explains how SPLASHYSTUDIOS LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use SplashyRadio — including splashyradio.com, the installable progressive web app (PWA), song pages, live listening features, sponsorship pages, and related notifications (the “Service”).

By using SplashyRadio, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information (if you sign in) — such as email, username, and authentication details
• Notification preferences — for example, whether you opt into new-release push notifications
• Communications — messages you send us for support or sponsorship
• Sponsorship details — business contact and creative information you submit for station ads or underwriting

Information collected automatically

• Listening / usage data — pages viewed, play/pause activity, approximate session timing, and feature use needed to run the live station and improve playback
• Device and log data — browser or app type, device type, operating system, rough location (country/region from IP), and diagnostic logs
• Cookies and local storage — session continuity, preferences (such as theme), and local settings like next-track notification opt-in on supported desktop PWAs
• Push subscription data — if you enable web push, we store the endpoint and keys required to deliver notifications you requested
• Analytics — aggregate analytics (for example via Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic and reliability

Information from third parties

• Auth providers — basic profile data needed to sign you in
• Infrastructure providers — operational metadata from hosting, database, and delivery partners

We do not need a payment card to listen to SplashyRadio. If you pay us for sponsorship or another related product, payment details are handled by our payment processor (such as Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Operate the live station, song pages, and PWA experience
• Keep playback, scheduling, and listener features working
• Deliver optional notifications you enable
• Respond to support and sponsorship requests
• Measure performance and fix bugs
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized redistribution
• Comply with law

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use SplashyRadio listening data to build third-party advertising profiles for sale.

3. How Information Is Shared

We may share information only as needed to run SplashyRadio:

• Service providers — such as Supabase (auth/database), Vercel (hosting/analytics), and push infrastructure required for web notifications
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Service
• Business transfers — if SPLASHYSTUDIOS LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that deal with notice where required

Public song pages (titles, artwork, lyrics we publish, and similar content) are intended to be public and may be indexed by search engines.

4. Notifications

If you enable notifications:

• New release push may use your account preference plus a browser push subscription
• Next-track alerts (desktop PWA, when offered) are generated on your device using the Notification API and local preference storage

You can disable notifications in your browser/OS settings or in SplashyRadio notification controls where available. Uninstalling the PWA or clearing site data may also remove local preferences and subscriptions.

5. Data Retention

• Account data — kept while your account is active; removed within a reasonable period after deletion unless we must keep records for legal or security reasons
• Push subscriptions — removed when you unsubscribe, disable the preference, or when endpoints are invalid
• Logs and analytics — retained for operational periods, often in aggregated or shortened form
• Sponsorship records — retained as needed for billing, tax, and contract obligations

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

7. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact team@splashystudios.com to make a request.

You can also:

• sign out of your account
• revoke notification permissions in your device/browser
• clear cookies/local storage for splashyradio.com

8. Children

SplashyRadio is intended for a general audience, but accounts and commercial features are for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect account personal data from children under 18. Contact us if you believe we have, and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

We operate in the United States. Information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers run infrastructure. By using SplashyRadio, you understand those transfers may occur.

10. Third-Party Services

Links to Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, or other sites are governed by those services’ privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy as SplashyRadio changes. We will update the “Last Updated” date on this page. Continued use means you accept the revised Policy.
