SPLASHYRECORDS Terms of Service & Philosophy

Welcome to SPLASHYRECORDS.
This post serves as both our Terms of Service and our statement of intent — what we build, how we operate, and what we expect from anyone who joins.
By using any SPLASHYRECORDS platform (including SplashyRecords.com, the Splash Club, or splashBB), you agree to follow these terms and respect their purpose.

1. What We Are

SPLASHYRECORDS is an independent creative collective and software studio.
We build tools and platforms that give artists full control over their work, connection with listeners, and space for discussion without interference from ads, algorithms, or outside influence.

2. Accounts

  • One person, one account.
    Every account belongs to a real individual. Artists can list their aliases or projects, but all activity comes from a single profile.

  • Responsibility.
    You’re accountable for what you post and say. No spam, harassment, or impersonation.

  • No automation.
    Accounts must be operated directly by their owner. Bots or auto-generated content are not allowed.

3. Content

  • You own everything you create.
    By posting on SPLASHYRECORDS platforms, you give us permission to display your content, not to claim it.

  • Posts are permanent.
    Public posts stay visible as part of the record. Edit carefully and post intentionally.

  • Moderation.
    We may remove or mark content as spam if it disrupts the feed or breaks community guidelines.
    Spam-marked posts are hidden from discovery but remain on your profile.

4. Membership & Access

  • The Splash Club offers lifetime membership for a one-time $50 fee.
    Members can post, comment, and participate. Non-members can read publicly available content.

  • Payments are final.
    Accounts remain archived if a member leaves — posts and comments stay visible to preserve context.

5. Privacy

  • We collect only what’s needed to run the platform (basic account info, posts, and analytics).
  • We never sell or share user data with third parties.
  • If you close your account, we remove identifying info but keep public posts visible for archive purposes.

6. Conduct

  • Keep discussion focused, creative, and constructive.
  • No hate speech, targeted attacks, or explicit content outside the platform’s guidelines.
  • Respect others’ projects, process, and time.
  • Quality over quantity — add something meaningful when you post.

7. Moderation Policy

  • We review reports manually.
  • Posts may be hidden, restricted, or tagged if they break these terms.
  • Repeated violations or disruptive behavior may lead to account suspension or permanent removal.

Moderation isn’t about control — it’s about keeping the platform aligned with its purpose.

8. The SPLASHYRECORDS Philosophy

We believe independent work should stand on its own.
We don’t chase trends, ads, or algorithms.
Our goal is to preserve creative integrity — to make spaces that let artists speak directly and audiences listen without distraction.

Every project under SPLASHYRECORDS follows this same idea:
keep things simple, build them well, and let the work tell the story.

9. Legal & Updates

We provide our platforms as is, with no guarantees of uptime or availability.
Use them at your own discretion and risk.

We reserve the right to update these terms as our ecosystem evolves.
