SPLASHYRECORDS Community Guidelines

The Splash Club and all connected SPLASHYRECORDS platforms exist to share ideas, music, and conversation without the noise of typical social media.
These guidelines define how we keep that space open, focused, and worth being part of.

1. One Account, One Voice

Each person has one account.
No alts, no bots, no brand accounts.
You can list your artist names or projects, but everything you say or share comes from you.

2. Speak Honestly, Not Carelessly

Disagreement is fine. Disrespect isn’t.
Make your point without personal attacks, sarcasm, or performative drama.
Write like you’re talking to someone you might actually work with someday.

3. Keep It Real, Not Promotional

Share your work, your thoughts, your process — not constant ads or click-bait.
If you post your music, give context: why it matters, what inspired it, what you learned making it.
Value > Volume.

4. Quality Over Quantity

Don’t post just to post.
If you’re sharing something, make it worth someone’s time to read, hear, or respond to.
Noise kills good conversation.

5. Respect Creative Ownership

Don’t repost or reuse anyone’s content without permission.
If you quote, sample, or reference someone’s work, give credit clearly.
Plagiarism or stolen material gets removed immediately.

6. No Hate or Harassment

Zero tolerance for hate speech, discrimination, or targeted attacks of any kind.
That includes slurs, threats, or any content meant to intimidate.
Break this and you’re gone.

7. Keep It Safe For the Space

Explicit content is fine if it fits your art or message — not if it’s shock for attention.
Illegal or pornographic material isn’t allowed.
Use common sense.

8. Moderation

Moderation is manual and transparent.
If a post breaks guidelines or lowers the quality of the feed, it may be marked as spam or hidden from discovery.
It stays visible on your profile — we don’t rewrite history.

Repeated issues can lead to warnings, restrictions, or permanent removal.

9. Disputes & Feedback

If you think a moderation call was wrong, reach out directly at
steven@splashyrecords.com
We’ll review it. No automated systems, no black box decisions.

10. The Point of All This

SPLASHYRECORDS is about independence and integrity.
These guidelines aren’t here to control expression — they’re here to keep expression meaningful.
The goal is simple: build a space where good work and good ideas actually get seen.
